| Although the pavilions were developed for adults, each pavilion has type approval based on DS/EN 1176-1 relating to playground safety.
All types of pavilions must be furnished with a 40-cm deep impact absorption surface of certified sand or stone or rubber materials. (It must be possible to inspect the equipment units, also below ground level.)
MATERIALS
The pavilions are designed to withstand the seasonal effects of rain, sleet and wind. They are very sturdy and safeguarded against vandalism. The load-bearing parts are made of galvanised steel. The pavilions are roofed with a strong, inflammable rip-stop polyester membrane and contact surfaces are made of oak.
MAINTENANCE
Maintenance instructions are provided. Oak must be oiled and wearing parts must be inspected regularly.
A maintenance scheme of two main inspections a year is offered in regions of Denmark connected by bridge to the rest of the country.
