MINITRAININGPAVILION 3

A new outdoor fitness culture. Exercises that can be linked with running, cycling and hiking. Fitness exercises with both dynamic and static muscular impact. Exercising can be performed individually or in groups. Exercise is for everyone – it is fun, healthy and simple. The MiniTrainingPavilion’s equipment is roofed. The word “pavilion” originates from the Latin papilio meaning “a butterfly with unfurled wings” and a curved rip-stop membrane covers an area of about ten square metres. The pavilion is designed to unify a floating sculptural style with functionality and sturdiness. A solid basic structure and sturdy equipment ensure great durability and resistance to vandalism. It is solid and physically pleasant to use. The roof shelters the user not only from the rain but also from the harmful rays of the sun. Each pavilion is a set of equipment combining exercises for arms, legs and the body. The TrainingPavilions were developed by prominent personages within Danish sports and Danish Design. The development efforts were supported by the Danish Foundation for Culture and Sports Facilities and Dansk Firmaidrætsforbund (Danish Business Sports Association).

Each piece of equipment is accompanied by simple, easy-to-understand instructions posted at eye level on the middle column.
The exercises selected can be supplemented by the user’s own know-how and inventiveness.

1 MASSAGE ROLLER

While leaning against the rollers it is possible to do knee bends and at the same time massaging the back. Tight calf and thigh muscles can also be loosened up.

2 PARALLEL LIFTING BARS

Hidden gas pumps provide resistance in the parallel bars. The oak bars can among others be lifted or used for push-up exercises.r

3 SKI SURFER

Standing on the spring-tensioned cart, it is possible for the user to improve his/her physical condition before actually skiing, surfing, etc. Excellent exercise for both senior citizens and children.

4 THE WHEEL

By gripping the spherical handle, the user can train “throwing movements”. Or the wheel can be turned using both hands. The desired resistance can be adjusted using a built-in brake.
